Let Me Introduce Myself

I am better known as Rico Montana.  My humble beginnings in the porn industry begins as follows.  Growing up and living in the San Fernando valley during the 80's through the mid 90's, I should've known I would be destined to be a pornographer.  My family and I had moved from Glendale to the city of Van Nuys around 1980.  My dad had owned all the popular formats back then 8mm, betacam, VHS all that.  I knew where he hid 'em.  My dad use to have parties at the house and would invite some friends over to watch some new releases.  Remember On TV and Select TV?  It was before Hi speed cable and satellite television.  Well, they had great porn playing on those cable boxes.  With a key, literally a key, to switch over from allowing adult programming to childproof.  Of course my parents left the key in the damn thing the entire time.  When my folks went out for the evening, I'd also ransack the house looking for my dad's porn stash.  (I just wonder if my kids are doing the same thing.  Shit!)  Ones I found were Debbie Does Dallas and some titles form Seka.  Of course Vanessa Del Rio was my favorite Shitt!!


I always had a thing for porn.  Throughout my childhood it was always things like sneaking a peek at the Playboy or Penthouse mags at the liquor market or sneaking in the adult section of the neighborhood video store to browse the VHS box covers.  I had to have it.  I had to see it.  I was obsessed.  I would rent them, copy em, and you know the rest.  Now fast forward to the 21st century.  By trade I am a Camera Operator and had been doing mainstream projects since 1999.  I started directing my own projects around 2004.  I always wondered what it would be like to work on a porn set.  To shoot and direct a porn scene, a movie.  What was it like?  I wondered... I had to find out...


  Well in 2005 after being laid off from an advertising agency I began the journey.  I hooked up with indy producer Thomas Healy of New Born Entertainment in Moreno Valley and shot content for his Dr. Lickalotta sites.  I shot a couple of scenes at Cloud 9 Content with Daisy Marie and Taylor Rain.  Then I got an interview with Matt Morningwood of Pink Visual for a Directing gig stemming from searching the web for adult jobs.  Of course I show him my recent stuff I just shot and it landed me the job.  I  Directed for Pink Visual for almost five years and in those five years I shot over 1000 scenes of all kinds of niches.  Anal, dp double penetration, threesomes, asian, black, latina, big ass, huge tits, orgies, gangbangs you name it.  Then for a year I was on set for Playboy/RealityGang websites I would shoot the mobile content and 2nd Camera.
